What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Its brutally difficult gameplay is made so much more fun with the randomised items, tonnes of unlockables, and amazing art/sound design.
The art style is unique, the music fits perfectly, and the game balances skill, luck, and strategy really well.
Rebirth and it's DLC might be a better game but the art-style paired with Danny B's Soundtrack are the perfect encapsulation of this game as a whole.
Now, onto what I think is Binding of Isaac’s greatest strength the story.
