Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
The "dynamic" NPC interactions are deterministic dialogue trees and romance is as simple as just asking someone to bang.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Some shallow storytelling and repetitive quests hold it back slightly, but it’s absolutely worth your time and money if you enjoy immersive, long-form gameplay.

Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
Nice sound and graphics, nice building system, nice general atmosphere, nice combat mechanics (or at least I've seen a lot worse), nice idea with the multi-generation dynasty though I never was motivated to actually play that long, this obviously was a passion project at least for parts of the game, so I'm recommending the game, however I am not motivated to pay for any DLC or would ever consider buying a part II.

Co-op
Players who bring up Co-op mostly praise it.
I would be remiss not to mention co-op too–it's not only insanely fun to play this with friends, but it performs WAY above most actual multiplayer-focused games that I've played over the last few years.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
It feels quite immersive, the soundtrack is enjoyable (though a bit more diversity in it would be nice), all the building is fun, and the quests dialog offsets the simplicity of most quests.
