Receiver 2

While it is a fun sandbox to try the guns and the custom music feature and design of the level is stellar the challenges hold it back.

The game isn't afraid to go to some dark themes and is very focused on the narrative it wishes to tell without much distraction or meandering.It also does an amazing job rewarding and punishing the player and making it's 5 levels last a long time (even if they are the same randomly generated buildings and roofs).

Now that is one tedious FPS you might say, and won't even imagine how wrong you'd be, because the very talented devs of Receiver 2 managed to successfully turn all that realism into a very neat experience, making the whole game and its pace and its goals balanced around you learning about your weapons and how to handle them, which is a fun and satisfying learning curve

The story revolves around themes of history of various firearms featured in the games, harmful media, mental illness, and something called "the Threat." There's a decent amount of firearms in the game, complete with meaty and very LOUD sound design, even with an option to muffle them as well!

A solid FPS with interesting mechanics that force you to slow down and pay attention not just to your enemies and your surroundings, but also yourself.

Every sound is useful, crisp and satisfying (in its own right) and the visuals are simply stunning, as even the city in the background looks amazing, even if it isn't the players main focus.
