The game combines puzzle games and turn-based RPG gameplay pretty well as you try and figure out the optimum direction to slide and stay three steps ahead so you're not cornered or sliding into danger.
The gameplay is simple but satisfying, yet the game shines most with its art style and character designs: colorful, cartoon-ish, and highly creative - the descriptor that I would use is "Dr.
There are 6 base playable characters (+2 unlockable ones) each with unique abilities that can make your game always feel fresh.
Every move is brisk, ensuring combat happens at an appreciable clip.
The OST and sound design deserves a mention because it is very good.
And every time the credits conclude, you’ll just have to force the game to quit as it never returns to the menu or hub.
