Plunge

The gameplay is simple but satisfying, yet the game shines most with its art style and character designs: colorful, cartoon-ish, and highly creative - the descriptor that I would use is "Dr. Seuss meets cyberpunk." The music is pleasant and fits the theme, but it's nothing I'd listen to in my free time.

For anyone who likes a nice stripped-down Roguelite, this fits the bill and has enough of its own ideas - with a very distinctive art style.

Each of the three worlds introduces new terrain gimmicks and enemy types which, when combined with the distinct advantages you’ll procure each run, create the potential for a highly dynamic combat experience.

Unfortunately the game didn't do too well in sales, but I would have loved a sequel or a DLC just to get more of that soundtrack, which I've found myself listening to quite often.
