You can't switch the music track you have on when you choose to retry so you have to quit and then change it once you play again.
The game has pretty simple gameplay of just trying to make crosses.
Along with that, all of the purchasable items in the shop are related to the versus mode too and none of the others, and the characters you can select for the versus mode aren't really seen outside of it (except for Monitan, in the tutorial), so unless you have somebody to play with in person, it really feels like you're missing out on half of what the game has to offer.
+ Versus can be played without a controller, needing only a mouse for one player and a keyboard for the other
Bonus points is the soundtrack is nice, it very much feels like a Dreamcast or late PS1/early PS2 title and the visuals and vibes definately scream the "Y2K" era vibes it was going for, as the description says
