The Questing system is really well made, the quest tree is very well designed and as someone who enjoys building systems ontop of other systems.
Many titles in the recent 'farm sim' and 'cozy game' line ups have a certain slavish devotion to game design relics of Farm Sims Past and maintain gameplay conventions that are honestly frustrating after almost 30 years of gaming progress.
- The decorative items are cute, and I like the stylised low poly game graphics, and the decoration process feels fantastic mechanically.
Tons of great quality of life features like sleep anywhere, crafting from chests anywhere, peaceful mode, menu button to teleport home, and on and on.
• The game can be played entirely with a controller, but a few actions are easier and quicker if done with the mouse.
I think they hit a great sweet spot of not too difficult or frustrating, but keeping you engaged.
