The story falls short of its potential, spoiling twists early on and never developing relationships you care about (as Link's Awakening did)...at least not in the first playthrough.
Whether or not the game is on sale, at it's present price, and replayability, the game is worth every penny!
The games visual graphics are great, and I love the option to experience this game in either 8-bit or 32-bit.
Strong points were the soundtrack, goofy script and the unique late game mobility upgrades which were a lot of fun to mess with.
On the plus side, the game does a decent job imitating the feel of the original Link's Awakening and there are some unique mechanics to be found, as well as unlockable co-op.
