The game has flexible game speed mechanics. slow to fast, including even an active pause. (and that really helps)

This game has a nice difficulty curve. (go through the tutorial first) It has much less cheesing necessary, or going on, than the other titles like this.

Graphics are awesome, effects are punchy, fires burn for quite a while after knocking out an armored push and ill never get tired of turrets flying off Soviet tanks.

Overall, the campaign is fun and if it would have some additional narration or cutscenes it would be nothing far off a game the likes of World in Conflict.

The visual clarity ensures players can parse the battlefield quickly, which is crucial in the heat of combat.

Also, many players may dislike the absence of multiplayer (competitive or co-op); so judge the importance of that to you before making a purchase; replayability is good because of a random skirmish mode against the AI.
