Written in 1859-60 by Wilkie Collins, Woman in White began a decade for a new genre of writing that became popular during the Victorian era of 1860 - 1870 and featured Victorian novels such as: Dickens's Great Expectations & culminating in Thomas Hardy's Desperate Remedies.
Although this HOG is pretty old (it was first released back in 2010), this game still wowed me with its masterful storytelling (though you can probably guess where the storyline is heading towards), superb voice acting, and challenging HO scenes.
As you play you will have a journal filled in as you meet the characters/plots unravel that are a useful addition to the story providing progress to the mystery & lighting up to make you aware of updates.
Gameplay is as it usually is in this type of game, art is pretty good, though some things are super dark and I have issues seeing differences/items in such dark areas; I also know that helps with the searching difficulty, so I would never be upset over it.
