What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay itself, there are like one key moment where you get the hammer of light back at the end of the game.
the main characters are shallow, constantly chattering with lame jokes and unnecessary beef against each other. the open world chapters feel kinda boring, with unnecessarily big areas that have nothing more than some collectibles here and there (there are some side missions of course, they're kinda cool tbh but nothing that would need such a big and mostly empty flat map), and the worst of it all, I got a bug in chapter four act 2 where no matter how hard I try to solve it, the game doesn't save any collectible I get and I didn't get the achievement for completing the game, even though I completed all chapters from scratch by myself and some of them playing co-op.
The visuals and graphics are superb.
PC Performance: It runs at an insanely buttery framerate with slick visuals and zero stutters.
Special mention to the spectacular OST by Ramin Djawadi, I seldom skip a track when it comes on, and the sound fits the vibe of the game so well - equal parts dark and moody, but determined and adventurous.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
