The combat on the other hand is fast paced with high energy however the parry mechanic in this game relies too heavily on insane reactions times and being charged up two attacks earlier on Bushido and above but on the lower originally available difficulties it feels quite balanced.

The games main appeal is its platforming and combat, both are great though the platforming can feel a bit annoying given quite a bit of focus on the dash ability which requires quite the long charge up time that if you miss is often annoying to retry.

Great combat, stunning visuals and soundtrack, fantastic world and map, simple story, fantastic bosses, good challenge to reward ratio, good playtime around 10-12 hours to beat for a hundred percent save (for my play through maybe longer or shorter for you)

Preemptive tldr; Ato is a stunning game that may have some flaws and on higher difficulties can be a bit unfair but is overall worth your money for the time you get and the challenge combined with the stunning visuals and music.

Overall so far the best combat and platformer difficulty setting has been the hardest available to you at the start, experienced, a nice blend of challenge and reward that will draw you into the game and it’s every detail.

Then if you ever sit back just to enjoy the details you might notice the soundtrack in the back a nice blend of soothing tones while exploring searching for all the game’s hidden nooks and crannies and energetic fight music to get you really pumped for the games fantastic boss fights.
