What players think
The recurring themes across 181 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I’d been pretty attached to MS’s characters back when I was into it, and it would seem that Helheim Hassle is continuing Perfectly Paranormal’s trend of introducing characters you can really feel for!
The gameplay is also a lot of fun, although it does take some getting used to.
👍 PROS:The limb-detachment mechanic is incredibly fun, well-executed, and leads to some genuinely clever puzzles.Masterclass writing and voice acting—the story is packed with absurd, cartoon-style humor that lands perfectly. The vibrant art style and expressive character animations are top-notch and full of personality.Great level design that constantly forces you to think outside the box (and outside your own body).

1) I played both the demo and the full game on the keyboard, the game recommends a controller, and maybe that would have changed it for me.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
