What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The art style is charmingly simplistic but effective, creating a welcoming atmosphere that appeals to both casual gamers and fishing enthusiasts alike.
Game also have daily quests and regular quests to help you out with money, baits and experience so not that grindy at all.
The club (guild) system is good, with some nice quests again giving a sense of progression as well as a social aspect.
As someone with hundreds of hours in the other two big online fishing games, I know that most people that are curious about trying Fisher Online are probably former players of at least one of those, so I'll do my best to relate the biggest things that I see as positives here and why I've had a blast in my 50 hours of play on Fisher Online so far.
Although videos may point you in the right direction the game seems to really reward exploration and experimentation; in other titles it is too easy to feel on rails and miss so much of the content.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
