You'll have to protect the younglings of the colony as some creatures will blitz through to get them, Its a nice break from routine, and quite entertaining to manage lighting, exits and entrances.
So starting with the gameplay I know that I am a sucker for simulation and management games and liked the idea of dwarves just digging a huge city underground.
