The world, characters, and story are well thought out and detailed.
Its a charming title with beautiful graphics, solid game-play, engaging environmental puzzles and great performance (I achieved fairly consistent 120 fps with everything on max at 1440p on an old vega 64.)
I think the majority of people who are interested in this game are so because of the pikmin-like nature strategy gameplay.
The sound design (especially for transitioning between different times of day) is also really well done.
One other note is that the game recommends controller while It probably is a better experience on a controller don't let that stop you; I played on keyboard and mouse and found it worked just fine.
for beginners like me. the game heavily relies on inventory management/resources and a bit of strategic thinking and puzzle solving in order to progress forward the game. few items to craft, 5 different spritelings to discover, and numerous beast creatures to battle. the story however felt a bit abrupt especially the ending where I wish they showed me Wake going home or whatsoever.
