Developed and published by Iori Branford, the game draws inspiration from classic shooters of the 1990s while introducing several unique mechanics that help it establish its own identity.
While shoot 'em ups are rarely known for their storytelling, Demonizer makes a genuine effort to create memorable characters and a world worth protecting.
Combined with satisfying sound effects, the audio design helps create a nostalgic experience without feeling trapped in the past.
aside from the vibrant, fresh visuals the game has to offer, the main reason why demonizer is worth the purchase is the smooth gameplay. i was a little apprehensive coming from the Danmaku games, but this was a ton of fun!
