The core of the crafting system is pretty sweet in my opinion.

One could just get lost in the survival game play feature, the story line offered is fairly entertaining, loosely held together by notes that one most explore fervently to locate but in the end will give clues on how to get off this island and out of the mess the main character is in.

The environment and graphics are beautiful even if sometimes haunting, the dynamic weather isn't just for show in this game, it also can really quickly impact your decision making because hypothermia is a quick killer that will send your character into a hallucinating tailspin.
