And this is such a shame, because such design decision basically nukes the fun and replayability of the games for casual and/or less experienced crowd.
It replaces the 2D sprite visuals with a full 3D environment and allows for a free-roaming camera that shifts perspective, giving the game a different sense of scale.

This re-release lacks any accessibility options or changes to make the game a bit easier for anyone regardless of skill level to experience.So if you want a challange its still there but its not easier for those that want to have fun spamming bombs.
