What players think
The recurring themes across 184 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The plot felt a bit like a kid excitedly writing their first big story, which is something I can appreciate, but it does mean that you get a bit of an odd mix of fun comedy bits and big dramatic scenes.
If you're looking for a fun creature game with a retro pixel art style, I'd say it's definitely worth giving this one a chance.
That said, it's definitely not a plain pokemon knockoff and has plenty of its own gameplay and identity.
I think using a different synth would have really pushed this game's soundtrack over the top, but using famitracker is an ordeal in and of itself.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
