but the minigames here sorta feel like baby's first game, and i have to doubt warioware feels like that (but maybe they do, i dunno). winning or failing a minigame means going down a different path in the story, which is the hook of the game. i felt much more motivated by seeing what the game had to offer narratively and aesthetically. its Stanley Parable-esque, but imo it doesn't really come together as well as that game did.
What it lacks greatly is quality of life features and good controls/gameplay.
The soundtrack is wonderful, the Wario ware esc game play is wonderful, the game is perfect!
The art style changes constantly, and the contrast between said art and the events it depicts is the primary source of the game's humor, which has its very strong moments (imo).
