Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail

Sailing/gunnery mechanics are implemented in good if not novel way, and It was fun going through the campaigns for the first time, but this pretty rapidly lost its appeal as there is nothing to do besides them (outside of sandbox mode which is fairly boring) and replaying it just goes to heighten deficiencies in the way the game is structured.

Great little game, very addictive and has some of the best ship combat damage models I've seen.

Still not that easy game, but very fluid with great story telling and period setting.

I really wanted to like this game, all the setting, campaign, story aspect, pleasant graphics, but this game gave more frustration instead of joy.

My biggest gripe is probably sound design - the soundtrack is solid, but there aren't a ton of tracks so you get tired of the lack of variety after a while.
