UNSIGHTED

If you miss the days of exploring fun dungeons and finding interesting trinkets that 2D Zelda games brought, or just like good action-adventure games, give this a go.

It's an excellent action RPG with a very engaging combat system, unique visuals and music, and far more freedom than usually given for the genre.

Fans of metroidvania will find plenty to love here, and for players like me who have been hesitant to give metroidvania a try, UNSIGHTED offers an engaging story and characters, fun puzzles, ample gameplay customization options for the inexperienced, and an artistic retro feast for the senses.

Gameplay mixes elements of Zelda, Medroidvania and Soulslike to great effect - challenging skill based combat and puzzles, minimal hand-holding so you actually have to deduce where to look next or what you might have missed to find something you need in an previously explored area.

Even the art style, you would think with all of the game mechanics they would have to cut corners on the visuals, but it actually looks very good aside from a few enemies, and there are many cutscenes even for insignificant moments.

The soundtrack is pleasant to listen to and it fits the game.
