What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Love the art direction and naming of the cards, the progression and the repeatability - 16 unique characters with their own decks and unique mechanics.
With a deceptively challenging gameplay loop, you will likely pour countless hours into this game before you properly understand how to play it.
Arcanium is a resplendent game, and the cartoon art style adds surprisingly large amounts of depth despite being somewhat minimalist.
The art style is very clean and cute, the character designs are fun and unique, the sound effects are all satisfying, the music is well done.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
