They exist and they're fun and they're part of the story.
While the gameplay contains plenty of exploration and dialogue, Edwin and Dawn are both guitarists, and the core gameplay consists in rhythm sequences of the type that make use of button presses - that's right, this is technically a rhythm game, but don't run away yet!
And I haven't even mentioned the nice camera angles or the art style yet.
The soundtrack was pretty solid
