LUNARK

The gameplay is pretty much perfect as far as the 'cinematic platformers’ go, it's a bit optimized so it's not as hard as some of the classics, I would say the difficulty is mostly fair - if you have prior experience with the genre.

Even brief cutscenes, animated with a smoothness that echoes the genre’s origins, help stitch the story together with flair.

Combined with stylized pixel visuals and sharp lighting, each scene becomes a small work of art that supports the tension and scale of Leo’s journey.

The soundtrack is quite varied, from slow piano melodies to more moving and electronic, but in general maintains a "synthwave" or "retrowave" vibe throughout the adventure.

From start to finish took around 7 hours (it could probably be done quicker) and was great on Steam Deck apart from the fact the audio could get a little messed up when resuming from standby.

When a difficult segment finally clicks — combining navigation, combat, and puzzle-solving in a single fluid run — the sense of accomplishment is significant.
