There is indeed plenty of cute characters in this game.
It's a pretty fun game with some Dark Souls adjacent gameplay mechanics and level design structure.
Music is right on track, each boss has it own version of music which surprisingly rhythm to the ear, it's not metal rock nor any loudy voice soundtrack, it's composed to fit the theme of classic JRPG mean there's an "opening", the "tense" and then "cilmax", it was designed so it stuck on people's head for awhile just like how JRPG done their music sheet.
Perhaps in the form of collectible books, letters scattered around, or even a main menu character info page (and characters info pages unlock as you progress).
- Controller playing can be a little sensitive while aiming, not too bad though
