It is my favorite genre (3D Platforming/Collectathon) and has a really smooth control scheme alongside really cute characters and beautiful levels (the music is great too).
More importantly, it sets the stage for a platformer that values accessibility, personality, and smooth gameplay above all else.
The visuals are vibrant and inviting, with environments that range from whimsical grasslands to haunted amusement parks and ancient ruins.
If you are a fan of games like Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Sly Cooper, etc. then this is definitely a game you should pick up and play.
The soundtrack is another highlight, featuring catchy tunes that perfectly complement the gameplay.
I've played it on Switch first and now got it for my Steamdeck to experience it again in higher fidelity.
