Throughout your adventure you will learn the story of Ophelia, her parents, and the estate that belonged to them.
All the characters and most assets were made by the developer though some things like the models for some weapons and the textures are some of the free assets used but overall the games world is impressive when considering it is all put together by just one person.
Exploration in Eldervale doesn't feel overly complicated and there is a lot of extra details you can find just by looking around in mostly practical locations and a lot of the progression of the game will need you to look around for some of these clues to understand some puzzles in the game.
