Well, there's one 'light ending' in every route.
seriously though: very very good writing, high quality and lilting voice acting (if you can understand japanese you may notice it's more lewd or strange at times than the translation, but it's still a damn good translation), 27 different endings, and paradoxically wholesome art. each scene has a variety of wonderful, mysterious, heart-pumping or relaxing music to accompany it also.
