there's a loneliness to a lot of online multiplayer games these days, but when you can meet your opponent after the fact in the discord and wish them GG, then talk strategies with them, it's hard to feel lonely. it reminds me of playing FNM and just getting to shoot the breeze with my opponent between matches.

The dialogue in the game is funny and witty, and the story had me hook line and sinker as it weaves a world all its own, instead of relying on telling variations of the same story over and over like Pokemon does.
