Gameplay wise, it feels like Slay the Spire meet Heroes III for me :
The UI and other weaknesses still hold, but the world building enemy variety, story and card designs really start to take form and I started to strongly like this.
I like the art-style (and dummies who say it's too close to Darkest Dungeon are morons. I don't mind having lots of games with a similar art style. It beats that crappy mobile card game look that many TCG's go for these days) and I like the concepts behind the game, but I don't know if I like the game itself.
There are a number of other things in this game that I'm enjoying (such as, IMO, the four playable characters feel very different from each other)... but if the battle mechanics mentioned above don't interest you, then maybe this just isn't the game for you.
This system gives combat a different type of tension because players constantly need to balance efficiency with conservation.
The soundtrack is pretty decent as well, though without much being special to it.
