This is mostly due to the fact that I have always found the combat system to be quite jarring but in this case it surprisingly grew on me.

The battle system was fairly simple, and I found running into the same pack of enemies on every loop of the dungeon to be a little tedious, but the class variety and upgrades made strengthening my party something I looked forward to.
