Star Drift Evolution

Nothing is more satisfying in this game (besides from winning a multiplayer lobby) than getting the top spot on the leaderboard of a track and seeing that update in the discord.

In short - I don't write many reviews but simply, if you like racing games and like challenges (e.g. if you are the kind of person that would grind Gran Turismo licence tests once you've done some racing) you will enjoy this.

The low-poly art style, clean lines, and bright color palettes create clarity during high-speed action, ensuring that visibility and flow are never compromised.

Purchased because I was looking for fun couch co-op games for a new media centre PC and while it didn't click with my girlfriend, for me picking up the controller and chipping away at Star Drift Evolutions career mode each day, unlocking and tackling each subsequent track has been a real joy.

The difficulty is balanced nicely (e.g. if you've played Racing games previously and are reasonably good at them you will pick up the Novice level awards fairly easily - Expert however requires grinding or in some cases finding the right car).

Considering it's cartooney look it has a quite realistic handling, but only as far as it is fun to play with a gamepad, so it is not overly difficult but still challenging to control the car and create a perfect drift over several curves.
