The plot is serious, it's very Macbeth / Greek Tragedy cliche stuff but it's great none the less.

This version of the game features HUGE quality of life upgrades, makes backing out of battles and random encounters seamless.

The newly added voice acting is a welcome addition as it breathes a new life in to this relic, giving the characters much needed personality and tone when they speak to one another.

Squire mode however is the polar opposite, so if you're having any kind of trouble, just switch the game to that mode for a battle or two or even when grinding because it basically puts the A.I. to sleep... you're not locked in for the difficulty either, you can switch it whenever you'd like... which is very nice.
