What players think
The recurring themes across 52 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I’d be quite interested to see some story elements to give the player a better understanding of the enemies, and the world that the game is set in.
The pixelart is magnificent, the gameplay is fun, and the music is good.
Charming pixel graphics (which was its initial draw to me), a formidable (yet fair) difficulty curve, a soundtrack that manages to both soothe and compel you into adventure, and easy to learn functions—whether you're using a controller or keyboard + mouse—all complement one another wonderfully, and make for an impressive game that you might otherwise mistake as rudimentary.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
