What surprised me the most was the depth of the gameplay mechanics!
The atmosphere is great, the cities look FANTASTIC (the visuals in general are quite impressive for a tycoon game!).
The graphics are clean, the interface is easy to understand, and the gameplay has a nice balance between strategy and creativity.
