Rather than focusing on realism, Surmount embraces a playful approach that encourages experimentation and rewards persistence, making every climb feel like a unique story of success, failure, and discovery.
The game starts strong with an engaging and fun gameplay experience that’s just the right amount of difficulty to keep you motivated to push forward.
Visually, the game adopts a vibrant cartoon art style that complements its whimsical tone.
I’ve even had a friend hop on with me and the co-op feature is HILARIOUS.
Combined with a relaxing soundtrack, the presentation creates a pleasant and uplifting adventure that remains engaging throughout its duration.
There's so much content here to explore and while at first I was worried it was going to be too easy, it's actually just introducing you to the game (you know, how it should be) and then you get to the harder levels and it is quite the challenge, currently I'm almost finished route 2 but it's still loads of fun.
